Mechanical Properties Of Sugna Steel TMT Bars

• Sugna TMT significantly increases the yield strength of the structure. The Minimum yield strength value for BIS Fe 500 is 500 N/mm2 and for Sugna TMT Fe 500 is 550 N/mm2.

• BIS Fe 500 minimum value for Ultimate Tensile Strength is given as 545 N/mm2 and is less than when compared to Sugna TMT Fe 500 (625 N/mm2).

• The elongation values for BIS Fe 500 & Sugna TMT Fe 500 are allowed as 12% and 18%.
